Book Review – King of Me (The King Trilogy #3) – Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

5 starsSo i am heart broken that this book was the end. Severely heartbroken. This book took you on one wild ride back in time. So much has happened in this book its hard to even write a review on it.

Mia gets to meet King back before he was married. She sees first hand the torment King has gone through in his 3 thousand years of being alive… well or dead. However you want to see it.

King is so badly, excuse my language, fucked up its crazy. Its heartbreaking. Just wow.

This book brings the understanding to a completely different level. So much pain.

I can’t believe its over. It truly saddens me

Book Review – King for a Day (The King Trilogy #2) – Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

5 starsThis one was way more sick and twisted than the first. Wow just Wow!

All the secrets come out in this book and I was blown away. Definitely not what I expected at all.

More of the evil shit came from 10 Club or Club 10. Either way, bunch of sickos!

Mia became somebody else in this book. Crazy lady is about all I can say.

King. wow. You see many different sides to him and its truly freaking weird and depressing.

on to the next one!

Book Review – King’s (The King Trilogy #1) – Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

5 starsMy thoughts are jumbled. Throughout the entire book, it was a total WTF moment. I get it, but i don’t. I’m confused, but i’m not. This book has me trying to wrap it around my head.

Ok So Mia, gets a call that her brother is missing. And like any sister she wants to help but takes matters into her own hands. But doesn’t get very far. She finds this man named King, and goes to him for help.

King is the biggest freaking asshole i have read about. I just don’t understand him. He is just plain freaking weird. Ass-holy-ness has got some serious issues. issues that i cannot comprehend.

Mia gets on my nerves because she made a deal and fights it every damn corner she can. Its just like, yeah this fool can snap your neck in like .5 of a second… but damn you made the deal… deal with it.

King is man. He wants something, he gets it. When you ask questions you get punished or whatever. Its pretty simple… do as he says. He owns you. You made the deal. Go go threw with it. But Mia does not. So it pisses him off.

Then, its just, King is gone. Mia, tries to find him, but has no luck. She gets emotionally attached which is a pretty stupid thing considering he is pure asshole.

Loved this book. Amazing… i have to… absolutely have to read the next one!

Book Review – Conceit (Se7en Deadly SEALs #1) – Alana Albertson

5 starsOkay, you have to love military men. PERIOD. But, a SEAL? Its an obsession.  The alpha male thing… my God yes!

Mia, suffered by losing her parents.  So, ended the relationship with her first love when he got hurt. Joaquin, Mia’s brother, is a SEAL. But he is caught up in a murder that he says he didn’t commit. So Mia decides to take matters into her own hands.

Without the help of Grant, she has to change,  physically and drastically.

Grant loved Mia. Thought she was the one. But when she left him, it completely broke him. He is not the same guy she fell in love with.

The bonds of brotherhood is sealed tight. So can Mia get thru Grant to save her brother? Mia tries to play Grant at a very dangerous game, that I dont think a new physical appearance will give her much time.

Book Review – Prophecy (Blue Moon) – Madelynne Ellis

ARC from Netgalley

Starting off, I did not read the prequel. Just realized there was one after reading this book. Futhermore, the book is so very unique to me. So very sifi, and some m/m action. Which I’m honestly not a fan of, but it was an amazing read, so we will look over that.

At first, I was so confused on everything. There were a whole bunch of “what the hell is going on”. I felt like Blaze. Straight up confused.  Honestly, not sure if that is how the author wanted it to be or not. Of course, continuing to read, I started understanding the story. Blaze was a regular orphaned human, living with his grandmother. Then, it changed. All kinds of weird stuff happening. Not knowing what was going on or who the hell he is, he was in some deep shit.

Asha, is a badass demon killer. She is a part of a clan that slays demons. Talon, is her crazy boss. The man is straight weird. But, he is all she knows. She kills for him, lets him sexual abuse her all with the help of this crazy demon ash or whatever the hell it was. (Kind of like true blood on the hbo series True Blood).

When Asha and Blaze meet… its like an instant connection. They want to protect each other. Asha knows what Blaze is but doesn’t want to admit it to herself or to Blaze.

When they stumble upon Raven, some of the answers that Blaze needs, he finds. And the unwanted truths Asha tries to deny, come forward. They cannot be together. Asha has killed many demons, and Blaze destiny is to lead said demons.

At the end of the book, Blaze’s path comes forward. He must follow it. Because of Blaze being what he is, Asha is very ill. And has to go back, against her will, to her home.

What happens next is a mystery that I cannot wait to read.

Book Review – Beautiful Addictions – Season Vining

The story started off pretty slow. At times, it was difficult to understand which characters pov was being told. But the complaints stop there.

This story is complicated because Josie cannot remembered what happened to her prior to her foster care days. Because of the days after the last of her childhood, she lives on whatever drug that is available and sex. She is a lonely soul that draws all over the city. One night she sees a man, and obesses over him. Goes to his work to be around him… little does she no know, they have a past.

Tristan is a weird character. I mean weird by being the hot tattooed bartender, but also a man with a very rare gift of remembering everything he has seen or read or spoken.  He has mourned Josie once… now that he finds her… he is not ready to loose her again.

As the story progresses,  more action comes in. We see a side of Tristan that we didn’t realize was there. We more in the eyes of the contract killers and the main “asshole” boss. The group Tristan was once in, is trying to kill Josie for her fathers part, of their once downfall, in their organization.
